The Cochrane India CMC Vellore Affiliate ran a 5-day workshop on 'Systematic Reviews, GRADE and Evidence to Decision' between the 21st and 25th of August 2023.

The workshop was inaugurated by the sponsor of the Cochrane CMC Vellore Affiliate, the Principal Dr Solomon Sathishkumar, after prayer by Chaplain Ms.Saramma Kuruvilla. The workshop was attended by 64 participants from all over India. The workshop covered review questions, InSynQ, Protocol development, Risk of bias 2.0, Zotero, literature search, data collection, data analysis, Revman, GRADE as well as Evidence to decision.

The sessions were a mix of teaching as well as practical hands-on time. A special session on OVID medline in systematic search was also conducted. The resource faculty included Drs Prathap Tharyan, Sathish Kumar, Mohan Kamath, Prasanna Samuel, Azariah Jebakumar, Vignesh Chandiraseharan , Mr Madan kumar and Dr. Thambu David. The workshop was well received by the participants.
